Lahmajo

Lahmajo, or also… “Armenian Pizza”, a dish which has its arabic origins. I love it and it’s hard to get here, or made with lamb, which Yeva is not a big fan of. That’s why I just started to make it myself, over and over again trying to perfect it.

Maltese Hobz (Traditional Bread)

A rustic, slightly sour loaf that is a staple in Maltese households. It has a chewy crumb and a crisp crust, perfect for soups, stews, or simply with butter.

Poffertjes

Poffertjes are tiny, fluffy Dutch pancakes that originated in the Netherlands in the 19th century. Traditionally cooked in a special pan with shallow indentations, they are served warm, dusted with powdered sugar and a pat of butter. They are a beloved treat at markets, fairs, and family gatherings.

Or Hay Khorovatz as they would call it in Armenia.

Qagħqa tal‑Appostli (Maltese Easter Sweet)

A fragrant, spiced ring‑shaped cake traditionally prepared for Easter. It is flavored with orange zest, aniseed, and a hint of rum, then glazed with a sweet sugar‑cinnamon coating.

Shoarma

Shoarma is a well known dish which is served in many ways and in may different countries. It can be made from different kinds of meat but my favorites are chicken thighs or cut from pork collar.
